This will be the 38th Australian National Budgerigar Council Championships. Geelongs name originates from the Aboringinal word "Jillong" meaning "a place of the sea bird over white cliffs". Geelong is situated on the waterfront it has grat restaurant, nightlife, and shopping. While your at the nationals why not enjoy some seafood caught freshly on the waterfront. You could also vist the National Wool Museum, Ford Discovery Centre or the Geelong Art Gallery. Sample som fine wines from the local vineyards or enjoy a round of golf. There is plenty to discover while visiting the nationals.
